TRANSIT er en udstilling af grafiske værker, hvor de tre kunstnere har samarbejdet ligeligt om hvert enkelt tryk. Monotypi er en grafisk fladtryksteknik, hvor man laver ét tryk pr. plade. Der er altså ikke tale om oplagstryk, men unikatryk alle med tre afsendere bag. Nogle af værkerne er blevet viderebearbejdet med materialer som f.eks. farveblyant eller papirklip, imens andre er holdt i ren tryksværte.
Værkerne der udgør TRANSIT handler om at rejse. Det kan være en fysisk rejse: At bevæge sig fra sted til sted. Eller en mental rejse: Meditationer, fantasi og fabulering. Transit er et midlertidigt sted, man opholder sig undervejs på sin rejse. Men transit er også en mentaltilstand. En overgangsfase i en proces, et stop på vejen eller måske en tiltrængt pause. En fastfrysning eller et øjebliksbillede.
Trykkene er også transitbilleder af Islings, Devantiers og Munneckes kollektive arbejdsproces og bærer præg af at have rejst rundt mellem de tre kunstnere.

Opening hours: Thursdays and Fridays 3-6 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 2-5 pm.
TRANSIT is an exhibition where the three artists have collaborated on making all the pieces collectively. Monotyping is a technique where you only make one print pr. plate, so the works are all unique. Some of the works have been supplemented with materials like coloured pencils, carton or paper while others have been left as they came from the printing press
Transit is a temporary place you stay, or a stop on the way, going from A to B. But transit can also be a state of mind, a mental transitional phase in a process of thought. It can be a stagnant moment of frustration; a snapshot of a premature process or a peaceful much needed break.
The prints of TRANSIT are all about travelling. Some about physical journeys; moving from one place to another. Others deal with psychological aspects as meditation, transcendence or fantasies. The works could also be viewed as transitional images of a collective work process. The prints have travelled back and forth between the three artists and bear the traces.
