ALVA 3 is a book and music release by Xenia Xamanek Lopez and Sophia Ioannou Gjerding. The publication is based on musical pieces presented first time in the video installation ALVA II (2019) at Kunsthal Aarhus and later on at CLICK festival and Video Art Festival Turku i Finland.

The music consists of songs and voice compositions accompanied by piano. 6 different voices are singing and telling fragmented stories, relating to the paranormal as a welcoming place to which one can indulge when there is no space in the "normal". 

In the book the song texts are printed together with drawings made in a continuation of the universe from the video installation ALVA II. 

A four-headed hydra monster, a cabbage head, hydroponic growing systems, water and vocal tracts.

Fredag d. 22. oktober holder Xenia Lopez og Sophia Ioannou Gjerding release på udgivelsen ALVA 3 i c4 projects.

ALVA 3 er en bog og en musikudgivelse. Publikationen er baseret på musiske stykker, som første gang blev præsenteret i videoinstallationen ALVA II (2019) på Kunsthal Aarhus og senere på CLICK Festival og Video Art Festival Turku i Finland.

Musikken består af sange og stemmekompositioner akkompagneret af klaver, hvor 6 forskellige stemmer leder lytteren igennem fragmenterede fortællinger, der forholder sig til det paranormale som et venligt sted man kan hengive sig til når der ikke er plads i det normale.

I bogen findes sangenes tekster samt tegninger som er udarbejdet i forlængelse af universet fra videoinstallationen ALVA II.

Et firehovedet hydra-monster der spiller klaver, et kålhoved, hydroponiske plantesystemer, vand og vokaltrakte. 

Bogen indeholder en downloadkode til musikken.

Ved arrangementet vil det også være muligt at se en række originaltegninger fra bogen og lytte til musikken, samt at få en rabat på udgivelsen.
