c4 projects is a non-profit artist-run exhibition space in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark.
We are seven artists who run c4 projects collectively with a flat organizational structure.
c4 projects values an experimental and investigative approach to art, curation and contemporary art communication. We facilitate between 4 - 6 exhibitions annually, together with hosting a number of related activities such as workshops, performances, readings, and talks.
We organize exhibitions representing a diverse range of the contemporary art scene. By initiating exhibitions that stimulate a meaningful dialogue about art and society, we aim to create a sustainable exhibition framework for upcoming visual artists from both Denmark and abroad.
c4 projects originates from the nomadic artist collective Carstensgade 4, which has organized exhibitions at various locations in Copenhagen since 2011. Before we moved into Dybbølsgade 60 it used to house the artist-run exhibition space Koh-i-noor between 2004 - 2013.
Koh-i-noor is co-organized by the artists Heidi Hove Pedersen, Gudrun Hasle, Jens Axel Beck, Jesper Carlsen, Sonja Rendtorff, Lea Porsager, Jacob Borges og Stine Marie Jacobsen.
