Resonance refers to the physical phenomenon where a system vibrates in response to a stimulus matching its natural frequency. With minimal energy, the vibrations are amplified.

The title also nods to sociologist Hartmut Rosa's critique of capitalism and its effects on our relationship with the world. In a fast-paced, growth-driven society, it becomes harder to perceive life’s echoes of meaning. Resonance cannot be forced - it arises unpredictably. What we can do is create social frameworks that nurture these echoes.

The participating artists first met 18 years ago as art students in Vienna.
